I have been teaching the bus metaphor from Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) for years... and using it in my own life.
It is an amazing way to get to know yourself better - why certain thoughts and feelings may come up with may affect your self-care practices... AND what to do if they do.
I mention a book in the episode which is 'The Saturated Self' by Kenneth Gergen - an awesome book on how we live in such a busy world and why we can often feel overwhelmed.
I will refer to the bus metaphor often in my podcasts - as I love it so much!
So - listen and apply it in your own life as often as you can - practice makes (nearly) perfect!
