WELCOME TO DAY FIVE

Trauma and Riding the Natural Waves of Grief

TRAUMA OR GRIEF?

Today we look at the difference between trauma and grief because knowing the difference is crucial to healing from suicide loss.

Most importantly, it helps you decide on what is part of the 'natural' grieving processing you will inevitably go through and when it may be trauma, which a professional can help you with.

This is vital to know because otherwise the natural grieving process can be blocked by trauma of the loss - keeping you locked in denial, shame, avoidance or overwhelm.

As always, please watch with care and reach out if you need to.

It is possible to heal from trauma.
